I have been working with one of my favorite authors, R.L. Naquin, for the past several months to put together a collection of her short stories.
In my opinion, Rachel’s mind must be a pretty strange and wonderful place. This collection is a delicious sampling of what I imagine it might be like to go there for a short vacation.
The collection includes poetry, flash fiction, stories from her established Monster Haven world, and an awesome glimpse into her upcoming series, Mount Olympus Employment Agency.
With all this to choose from, you’ll find a story for any conceivable chunk of time you might have to read. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll probably start checking for monsters under your bed.
These are some great stories, friends. You don’t want to miss this collection.
Transmonstrified is scheduled to be published by the end of January. Sign up for Rachel’s newsletter here to be notified the minute it’s available for purchase. Really, sign up for her newsletter anyway. She doesn’t email often, and when she does, it quite often includes free stuff.
We’re putting out the ebook version first, but we are dreaming big. We’re going to do a print version, too.
How could we not, with a cover this gorgeous?
We’re putting this out through indie press Bottlecap Publishing. Keep an eye on this company. I expect great things to emerge through them, and I am hoping they’ll keep me on as editor for future projects.
Thanks for tuning in! I’ll have more news soon.
